The Declaration and By-Laws define the responsibilities of the Association and those of the owner/member.
Building Maintenance
The exterior of each building is largely maintained by the Association. Notable exceptions are…
Windows and Doors
Driveways
Decks
Lamp posts
Damage caused by factors other than normal use and aging.
Remember if you are replacing any of the above it must be replaced with what was there before. If you are not sure please contact the board for help or approval.
In the past we have had people replace items that did not match our community and were required to have them fixed.
For more details on this subject, see the FAQ page, the By-Laws, or contact the executive board by email or attend a monthly meeting.
Grounds maintenance
The largest single recurring annual expense of the Association is maintenance of the grounds. This includes cutting the grass on all lawns within the Association, on both private and common property.
Also removal of snow from “our” roadways and cartways. We do not remove snow from private driveways or sidewalks, or private parking spaces.
This also includes maintaining the common area bushes, shrubs, and trees.
Maintenance of trees, shrubs, and other foilage on private property is the responsibility of the owner/member.
